Regulations for participating in the video contest
The schools participating in this category must perform their theatrical play in a venue of their choice, record it on video and send it to the organizers.
In no case is the use of external visual material allowed unless it is used as sceneries. If the video is different to the philosophy of the contest (eg a short movie/documentary) it will be viewed the final events only if there is sufficient time during the ongoing program.
The duration of each performance must strictly not exceed 20 minutes. The schools will have to adapt their performance to this timeframe, or else their play can be presented in the final event but out of competition.
The participating schools must send their recorded video performances to the organizers the latest till 9 March 2018. Videos that will be sent later than that will be out of contest and viewed at the final events only if there is sufficient time.
All the videos will be viewed during the 2 final events, unless the number of the participations (live & video) exceeds by far the available time – then the video performances will be viewed some on the first final event and the rest on the second. In that case, the contestants will be asked if they intend to be present at one of the two events so that the organizers make sure the relevant video will be included in the events program.
Together with the video performance, all participating schools must fill in and submit to the organizers the contributors form as well as the promoting actions report that they realized.
